COVID-19 and visiting The Wolversdene Club and The Hayward Suite. We’re keeping calm and carrying on as usual here at The Wolversdene Club, however we wanted to update you on the steps we are taking to help minimise the spread of COVID-19. The health and well-being of our staff, members and visitors is our priority and we are continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England carefully. To help combat the spread of COVID-19, we are putting precautionary safety measures in place, including:
The next few months are set to be a difficult time for small business and clubs like ourselves who rely on trade from our members, so if you are in a position to do so we ask you to continue to support the club with your patronage, but please do not take any unnecessary risks. We have strict guidelines for any of our staff who may begin to show symptoms to stay away from the club and we would encourage all our members and visitors to do the same and stay at home if they feel unwell; if you or a family member is experiencing any of the recognised symptoms; a temperature or a new, continuous cough – please follow the NHS /Government guidelines and self isolate for at least 7 days. The Wolversdene Club has stood the test of time for almost 70 years and we are proud to be a hub for the local community, long may it continue! For many of our older members we provide an important social scene and connection with the outside world so it is important during this period of uncertainty that we pull together as a community and take care of each other, particularly the more vulnerable members of our club.
